Created from the heart of motherhood, whānau and lived experience.

OurOra was founded by Toni Pirini, māmā, educator, wellbeing advocate and creator of resources designed to help people feel supported, encouraged and less alone.

Kia ora, I’m Toni.

I’m a mother of eight, a registered teacher, and someone who has spent years walking alongside whānau as they navigate the beautiful, messy journey of raising children.

And if there is one thing I know for certain, it’s this:

Parenting is the most important work in the world…and sometimes it can feel incredibly lonely.

OurOra exists to gently remind parents that they are not alone.

I created OurOra from the belief that care does not need to be complicated to be powerful.

Sometimes it is a warm meal.

Sometimes it is a bedtime story.

Sometimes it is a sentence that helps a māmā breathe again.

The name
OurOra

The name OurOra brings together our and ora, our wellbeing, our life force, our sense of balance, health and vitality.

When we look after our own ora, we create ripples of wellbeing through our whānau, our homes and our communities.

You are not alone in this.

We’re here beside you.

Growing a Māmā is part of the wider OurOra community, a circle of māmās walking alongside you.

Connection. Understanding. Support.
